BHNOF
International NOTAM Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHNOF) is located in Sarajevo, as part of the Area Control Centre - Operating Unit Sarajevo (BHACC / ATCU I). BHNOF performs operational tasks in the area of issuing, receiving, updating and distribution of notification, to the flyers in the Flight Information Region (FIR), Sarajevo. NOTAM is a message of urgent operational nature, whose properly knowledge is necessary for personnel, that take part in the preparation and execution of the flight, and refers to:
- the establishment, condition or change of means of aviation, services and procedures,
- the occurrence or the existence of a risk.
NOTAM contains information that is:
- temporary and of short duration (not more than three months),
- temporary and of long duration, processed in the form of short message,
- permanent, but operationally significant changes in the form of short message.
