The area of jurisdiction of FIC Banja Luka is the lateral Flight Information Region – FIR Sarajevo, and vertically the area from the ground up to 9500 ft above mean sea level outside the area of the airports and closing controlled areas (GND - 9500 ft AMSL outside CTRs and TMAs). This is uncontrolled airspace or according to the classification of the airspace by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), class of „G“ airspace.

Name of the Flight Information Centre is FIC Banja Luka (FIC - Flight Information Center), and call sign of the station in radiotelephony is Banja Luka Information. The service will be available in the period from 15 March to 15 October , from 7am to 7pm, and from October 16th to March 14th, from 9am to 3pm local time (CET).
